An abstract and artistic interpretation of the ocean floor, inviting visitors on a visual treasure hunt for pearl jewellery. Animated seashells open and close in a gentle rhythm, drawing attention and adding a sense of discovery and movement to the display.
The installation balances sculptural elements, light, and motion to create an immersive underwater atmosphere that captures attention both from a distance and up close.

• Each shell features a specialized “Mother of Pearl” electroplated surface treatment on the interior, designed to reflect and enhance light


• 3D-printed nylon shells mounted on coral-inspired pillars, anchored to a sandy seabed crafted in resin

• Custom blimps produced using 3D-printing and hand-painted finishes in retro colours


• Side-walls are made from mirrored acrylic to enhance light reflection and spatial depth, and the baseboard is made from 1 mm brushed stainless steel with rivet detailing for an industrial look


• Steering wheel is also produced in brushed stainless steel to reinforce the aviation theme


• Shelves are made from tempered transparent glass for a light, floating appearance and the decorative and light weight props, - shaped as screws and nuts - are produced in plastic with a stainless-steel texture effect

The brass leaves are finished with a PVD-surface treatment for a warm, luxurious tone and the black leaves with a powder-coated finish to create contrast and depth. • Wall modules are produced in CNC-machined MDF, finished with a smooth spray-painted coating

• Watch displays are produced in 3D-printed ABS for lightweight precision, followed by sanding and spray painting for a refined surface finish

Oversized cogwheels and watch displays create a composition that celebrates the inner mechanics of timekeeping. The installation combines raw, industrial textures with refined detailing, while subtle motion brings the display to life and reinforces the connection between engineering and watchmaking.

Materials, Treatments & Techniques

• The cog-wheels - manufactured in PVC for lightweight - are CNC-machined and hand-painted with a rusty surface effect for an aged, industrial finish and have integrated, functional movement powered by DC motors


• Wall panels are made from a flexible polymer–cement and are CNC-cut and laminated onto Dibond-panels to ensure stability and precision


• The watch displays are produced from laser-cut and folded steel trays, finished up with a bespoke colour flocking treatment and displayed on a white oak veneer as a contrast to the industrial look.
