FAIR WORKING CONDITIONS AND RESPECT FOR THE INDIVIDUAL
TJ Squared is a company with a strong Danish heritage and as part of our DNA we believe in a flat hierarchy. Furthermore, freedom to work independently and make active contributions to management are of vital importance.
Employing professionals from several nationalities and backgrounds, we are never satisfied with only adhering to the lowest local denominator when it comes to laws and regulations. Instead, we seek to actively challenge the standards in our industry and make a positive impact throughout our whole supply chain.
OUR VALUES
We believe in inclusivity and respect for the individual, and offer equal pay for equal work, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, political or religious views. Both our Code of Conduct, and human resources policy are founded in our values of inclusivity.
COOPERATION WITH LIKE-MINDED SUPPLIERS
We favour working with suppliers that have values similar to our own. Although we acknowledge differences in cultural attitudes, we firmly believe that fundamental human rights and basic requirements are universal when it comes to issues such as health, safety and the work environment. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards violations of basic human rights, such as forced work, child labour, discrimination or violence towards employees. We do not accept this in our value chain.
INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS
With our membership of Sedex (member no. ZC409318829) and with a Disney Facility and Merchandise Authorization (FAMA) of our assembly plant, TJ Squared can proudly say that we take our social cooperate responsibility very seriously, both within our organisation as well as outside. Following the methodologies of Sedex and FAMA, clients have a guarantee that we live up to the same internationally recognised standards as we require of our suppliers.
With internal- and external audits of suppliers, we ensure that our entire value chain lives up to local and international labour laws, work conditions, salaries and benefits ( being no less than at least on par with national standards.) For more information please check SOURCING CONSIDERATIONS .
GIVING BACK
In an effort to offer those who might find it extra hard to gain a foothold in the labour market, we are currently in the process of establishing a mentor project offering positions to disabled individuals. It is our hope that this will give individuals not only the experience and confidence to join the formalised job market, but also to learn and grow on a personal level.
